Invalid dreams

He was intelligent, often surprising. He wore well-cut suits and chewed his food with his mouth shut. He spoke well-cultivated English, was so smooth in his Brioni suits and cashmere zip-up sweaters. His nails were polished, his lips oily and his laughter diplomatic.

The overly attached woman

Ladies, if you ever dated a guy, and in the beginning everything was perfect. Okay, sort of perfect. However, after a while he began to change. He seem to loose interest in the relationship. He stopped making time for you, and seems to prioritise other things. Well, sweetheart fasten your seatbelt coz you and I need to have a chat.

Things Nairobi taught me - Part II

I have never given a thought of the way I would die. That was until the day I was roughed up along the streets of Nairobi as if I was a dangerous fugitive on the run since the 14th century. That's the day I met the wrath of Nairobi City Council officials, popularly known as kanjo. My sin - I threw a small piece of paper (those Citi Hoppa bus tickets) on the street.
